CM Himmat Card Program: Updates, Status, Apply Now

The Government of Punjab has launched the CM Himmat Card Program to provide financial assistance to persons with disabilities (PWDs) across the province. This initiative aims to empower PWDs by offering quarterly stipends through ATM cards, ensuring ease of access and financial independence.

Program Overview

  • Stipend Amount: Rs. 10,500 every three months
  • Total Beneficiaries: 65,000 individuals
  • Distribution Phases:
    • Phase I: 40,000 cards distributed
    • Phase II: 25,000 cards to be distributed
  • Payment Start Date: September 15, 2024
  • Bank Partner: Bank of Punjab
  • Women Quota: 30% reserved for female beneficiaries

Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for the Himmat Card, applicants must meet the following conditions:

  • Must have a certified disability from the Social Welfare Department of Punjab
  • Should be unable to work and not employed in any government or private sector
  • Should not be receiving benefits from other aid programs such as BISP, Zakat Fund, or Bait-ul-Mal
  • Must have a PMT (Proxy Means Test) score of 45 or below
  • Personal details must be registered in the Disability Management and Information System (DMPIS)

How to Apply

Applicants can register for the Himmat Card through the following methods:

  • Online Registration:
    • Visit the official Himmat Card website
    • Fill out the registration form with accurate personal and disability details
    • Submit the form for verification
  • In-Person Registration:
    • Visit the nearest District Headquarters (DHQ) hospital
    • Provide CNIC and disability certificate
    • Complete the application process with assistance from hospital staff
