The Government of Punjab, under the leadership of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, has launched the CM Punjab e-Bike Scheme 2025. This initiative aims to provide affordable and eco-friendly transportation options to students across the province, enhancing their mobility and supporting their educational pursuits.

Overview of the e-Bike Scheme

• Total Bikes: 20,000 (1,000 electric bikes and 19,000 petrol-powered bikes)
• Monthly Installments: Interest-free plans of Rs. 5,000 or Rs. 10,000, depending on the bike type
• Initial Payment: Rs. 10,000
• Bike Color: Green, representing the official color of the Punjab administration
• Launch Date: May 19, 2025

Eligibility Criteria

• Age: Must be between 18 and 25 years old
• Enrollment: Must be a regular student at an HEC-recognized college or university in Punjab
• License: Must hold a valid motorcycle learner’s permit or driving license
• Residency: Must be a resident of Punjab
• Ownership: Should not already own a motorcycle

Quota Allocation

• Urban Areas: 50% for male students and 50% for female students
• Rural Areas: 70% for male students and 30% for female students

• CNIC (Computerized National Identity Card)
• Valid motorcycle learner’s permit or driving license
• Student ID card
• Proof of enrollment in a recognized educational institution
• Guarantor’s CNIC and checkbook
